Over 20
churches officially sponsored the outreach with many other
churches
and individuals involved in some way over the 8 days.
5-7000 people came along to the Festival on the Saturday with many
positive comments from the community. The crowds also built in the
tent for the free
performances and there was much interest right through the week at
the paintings from the 'Art Paint Out' competition.
The Easter Drama- "The Gift" was a huge success. Many people were
deeply touched through the power of the presentation. Over 2000
people saw the drama over the three nights.
The five Impact Nights continued with an average of 700 people a
night, many commenting they were sad that it had to end.
Including the drama
nights over 100 people responded to the salvation appeal with 65 %
of those being first time decisions. Another 100 plus people then
came forward on each of the Impact Nights wanting prayer for some
need in their lives. The stories of healing, freedom and
deliverance continue to come in. What an amazing 8 days!
